INTERBUDEXPO, the major event of Ukrainian building and construction industry, is today the main exhibition ground in Ukraine, which assembled all directions of building and construction industry starting from the houses projection and up to its interior and exterior creation. In 2011 the forum demonstrated positive changes on Ukrainian building market: increase of the exhibitors number and exhibition area (their increase is 8% and 12% correspondingly). Representatives of the state bodies of Ukraine and other countries took part in the official opening ceremony of the exhibition. Among them: Mr. Pavlo Kostenko, the chairman of the Committee on family matters, youth policy, sports and tourism of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Mr. Jozef Bergier, deputy chairman of the science, education and sport committee of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Oleksandr Nepomniashchyi, Director of the Department of housing construction, building and building materials industries of the Ministry of Regional Building of Ukraine, Mr, Nazarii Yunyk, Chief of the Department for preparation of the stadiums, training bases, means for placement and Administration of infrastructure development of the Local organising committee EURO 2012 and others.
For the first time in Ukraine – HOST CITIES FOR EURO 2012 collective exposition-presentation! Presentation of the HOST CITIES FOR EURO 2012 collective exposition was the main event of the 1st day of the exhibition. Under support of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland and organizing committee for preparation and organizing of the final part of EURO 2012 in Ukraine. All the eight host cities for EURO 2012 demonstrated readiness for the upcoming championship. All were informed about the cities and objects which are involved in the championship (stadiums, airports, hotels, city transport infrastructure). HOST CITIES FOR EURO 2012 press conference was held during the exhibition. The main subject of the press-conference was level of the infrastructure key-objects preparation, namely stadium in Kyiv and stadium and airport in Lviv. General contractors (Altkomkievbud, Altis-Holding, Master-Profi Ukraine plant, Kyivmiskbud) shared the results of their work with public. 
All 5 days of the exhibition were full of seminars and presentations from leading Ukrainian and foreign companies such as Roto Frank Okna Dachowe Sp.z.o.o., Lamilux, Karbosan, CityStroy, Вetek, DoorHan and others. The following international conferences took place during the exhibition: “Ceramics for architecture and building: possibilities and tendencies”; “Information of the new generation”, the second specialized forum. Main subject of the forum was “Innovations of the searching systems and the newest technologies of the Internet-sales”.  The brightest event of the exhibition was FIVE ELEMENTS garden festival, organized by the Landscape Salon under the support of the Landscape Architects Guild and Kyiv Landscape Club. The goal of the festival was to demonstrate the ides for garden creation, new technologies and tendencies in landscape design. Five elements were presented to the attention of the public; each of them created unique landscape design. Air was notable for its lightness. Earth created the atmosphere of spring and summer, Water attracted by its comfortable atmosphere, Fire inspired with its warmth and finally the fifth element – plants attracted the visitors by its unexpected installation, which combined in itself the harmony of Nature and Man’s creations. 
Special attention should be paid to ECO.IN&OUT - gallery-contest of the best landscape and interior installations. The gallery was held in eco-format, which efficiently combined nature and modern design elements. At the ECO.IN&OUT gallery 9 interior and landscape installations from leading Ukrainian designers were represented. Installations of the participants created the atmosphere of easy journey through the best houses and gardens of our planet. The winners were defined not only by the professional jury, but also by the visitors of the exhibition via the questionnaires. The main estimation criteria were laconism of the style, coziness of the interior, ecology friendly and innovative character of the idea. By the results of the jury assessment, the winner among the interior ECO.IN installations is Mr. Yurii Tsegla for the AIR work. In the landscape ECO.OUT category the winners are Ms. Nataliia Kriukova and Ms. Tatiana Polishchuk for the IN HARMONY WITH NATURE installation. 
INTERBUDEXPO is the most important exhibition event in the building and construction industry of Ukraine, which reflects the tendencies on the Ukrainian building market and is still the basic starting point for international companies, which are entering Ukrainian market. Big interest of the exhibitors and visitors as well as wide business program of the exhibition demonstrates the revival of the Ukrainian building market.
In future, INTERBUDEXPO will also favor the development of the building industry of Ukraine in order not only to reach the pre-crisis level, but also to gain qualitatively new level of building with optimal results both for the country in whole and for each of its residents in particular. |
